Get To Know Our Campus

Our Phorms Campus Berlin Süd was founded in 2008 and is located in Steglitz-Zehlendorf. Our location combines the advantages of nature with those of the big city: we can take advantage of Berlin's cultural offerings and still benefit from the many open spaces in the suburbs during everyday learning.

Our sports facilities are right next to the school building, encompassing two sports fields with running tracks as well as a throwing and long jump facility.

We implement our bilingual concept using the immersion method from the nursery to the Abitur. We currently provide an international learning community for around 700 children with over 120 educators.

Which Department Are You Interested In?

Your Advantages

Thanks to the additional educators, our staffing ratio is above average. If you need additional materials for your projects, it is easy to purchase them at short notice. We meet regularly at team meetings and there are also plenty of team events. You are also entitled to 30 days' vacation.

"We make sure we work well together, because we don't just want to be a workplace, we really want to be a strong community." - Timo (Head of Nursery)

Equipment

Modern themed rooms such as the exercise room or the art room are available to help you organize your day at the nursery.

Organization

In our PhorMinis nursery, 150 children are looked after by around 35 educators. We have age-homogeneous groups from crèche to preschool. In addition to language, STEM is a focus in our nursery. We use morning circles, observations and discussions to find and explore scientific phenomena. You can use magnifying glasses, folding rulers, marble runs, smartboards, building blocks and much more to make science tangible for the children.

Your Advantages

Due to our co-teaching model and the small class sizes (approx. 22 students) you can let the children work in small groups and promote project-based learning.

"It is important for us that our teaching teams have the freedom to work flexibly within the timetable, allowing more creativity and giving the students a more engaging and skills-focused education." - Elizabeth (Head of Primary School)

Equipment

The classrooms have first-class digital equipment. Smartboards and your own laptop are available. Children can work with tablets from Year 1 onwards. Laptops, Surfaces and PCS are also available for the older children. Children in Years 1-3 have a Seesaw account and children in Years 4-6 have an MS Teams account.

Organization

In our bilingual primary school, 370 students are taught by German and international English-speaking teachers. They work hand in hand with the educators who are involved in the lessons as teaching assistants and support you as a teacher. In our "rhythmized lessons", longer teaching units alternate with time for projects and shorter learning units and there is no bell - so you can arrange the end of your lessons flexibly.

Your Advantages

Whether it's chess, school band, art, music club, soccer, school bees, school newspaper or other activities - in our afternoon clubs you can integrate your own strengths and interests and bring them closer to the children. Vacation programme: Here, too, you can get involved individually and within the scope of your personal interests and passions. You have 30 vacation days per year for your free time.

"The work in the after-school care center is characterized by a varied activity in primary school, afternoon care and the holidays." - Kerstin (Extracurricular Coordinator)

Equipment

We see the after-school care center as a place of learning and living in which the children and employees feel comfortable and can live, work and learn together productively. Our room design therefore takes into account room units for different age groups and the rooms are also designed according to different interests.

In addition to a media room with a library and computer workstations, there is also an exercise room for body and mind. We also have an art room for creative development as well as various research corners. As an educational specialist, you have communication and planning rooms at your disposal.

Organization

As an educator, you will not only be involved in lessons and work closely with the teachers, but also help shape the afternoon and holiday programme in our after-school care area. You can also help the children with their homework. For holidays, we put together a varied programme on overarching topics.

Your Advantages

We have our own campus psychologist who supports, guides and advises you in order to find positive solutions to any challenges together with the students.

"Our school offers teachers many opportunities for professional development. There are a variety of training programs that enable colleagues to continue their education in their field and optimize their pedagogical skills." - Valérie (Head of School)

Equipment

The classrooms are all equipped with smartboards and you have your own laptop at your disposal. Students can also use laptops in class so that you can organize your lessons in a modern and digital way. Our science, music and art classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

Organization

Almost 200 students are taught by more than 20 teachers at our secondary school. 50% of the lessons are taught in English. The classes and courses are designed for a maximum of 24 students so that you can promote strengths and support students who are unsure of themselves.

Your Advantages

Your tasks are varied and offer scope for creativity. In addition to an attractive salary, we offer you 30 vacation days and a strong community within our team. The parents and children on our campus appreciate your work and see you as an integral part of our daycare and school life.

"A very varied job where you have a lot to do with children, parents and employees." - Administration Team

Equipment

Our offices are modernly equipped. You have your own laptop and several screens at your disposal.

Organization

Our school administration team keeps everything together. Our colleagues work closely with the various departments and receive support from our central department at our headquarters in Berlin Mitte.
