Our Phorms Campus Hamburg is located in close proximity to Hafencity and the Outer Alster. Around 620 children and young people can experience bilingual education in German and English here, from nursery to secondary school.

Get To Know Our Campus

Our campus in Hamburg was founded in 2008. The campus is characterized not only by the internationality of the Hanseatic city, but also by its cultural openness. The nursery, pre-school, primary school and secondary school reflect the many colorful facets of the Hamburg metropolitan region. The all-day bilingual teaching aims to optimize the intellectual and social development of children and young people.

Our around 120 teachers give them room for creativity, independent learning and a spirit of discovery. They also support their natural curiosity and enjoyment of learning, for example through team and project work, everyday experiences of scientific phenomena and excursions during lessons.

In addition to bilingualism, media education, creativity and artistic subjects are the pillars of our curriculum at Phorms Campus Hamburg. We attach great importance to project-based lessons, the natural use of digital devices and media and the school's own excellently equipped library, as well as a wide range of extracurricular activities.

Which Department Are You Interested In?

Your Advantages

We would be delighted if you would like to contribute your own strengths and interests. It is also particularly nice that you can see the children in your care grow up on their way to the Abitur. However, if you do need a break, you have 35 vacation days a year at your disposal.

Equipment

As a pedagogical employee, you will benefit from our digital infrastructure and the excellent equipment in the group rooms. We already work with smartboards in the preschool groups and the Kita app on our iPads helps us with organization. As the daycare center is located on campus, you can also use the school's own library, the spacious sports room and the after-school care rooms to create a varied daily routine. We would be delighted if you would like to contribute your own strengths and interests.

Organization

Our PhorMinis daycare center offers space for around 150 children in nine age-homogeneous groups, which are looked after by 30 teachers. We have two crèche groups, four elementary groups and three pre-school groups. Our very good childcare ratio ensures that the children receive the best possible support. German and English-speaking staff complement each other. Since 2018, we have been part of the "Sprach-Kitas" program of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. This means that we have an additional half-time specialist position and specialist advice from the Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband as additional support.

Your Advantages

Our co-teaching model makes team and project work in small groups possible. As an educator, you are active in the classroom as a teaching assistant and are responsible for the afternoon and vacation program as well as various clubs. We are also happy to benefit from your personal interests and strengths.

Equipment

Our classrooms are all equipped with smartboards, and laptops and the school's own library are available for use in lessons.

"Our elementary school has an open and welcoming atmosphere. We have students and staff from all over the world. Our educators provide a safe, welcoming and respectful learning environment that promotes learning and growth." - Damir (Primary School Principal)

Organization

In our elementary school, teachers and educators work hand in hand to meet the different needs of the more than 300 students. The framework for this is the Hamburg Education Plan, which is supplemented by elements of the Cambridge Primary Program and shapes our school's internal curriculum.

Your Advantages

Due to the small class sizes, you can focus on the strengths and challenges of individual students and teach in a personalized way.

"Our high school is a melting pot in the most positive sense. Our concept and our diversity convince all teachers who feel comfortable in open-minded, unprejudiced and agile systems." - Gabriela (Head of Secondary School)

Equipment

As a teacher, you have access to smartboards and laptops in every classroom. We also have our own campus library. This means you can use modern methods to make your lessons varied.

Organization

Our grammar school was founded in 2011 and is state-accredited; in August 2021, we also received state accreditation for the upper school. Many of our subjects are taught bilingually, including History and Biology right up to degree level. In addition to the bilingual Abitur, Cambridge Certificates corresponding to the language level can also be completed.

Your Advantages

Your tasks are varied and offer scope for creativity. In addition to an attractive salary, we offer you 30 vacation days and a strong community within our team. The parents and children on our campus value your work and see you as an integral part of our daycare and school life.

Equipment

Two screens are available at all workstations in the administration department. In addition, each employee has their own laptop. We also have height-adjustable desks.

A coffee kitchen and fresh fruit are just as much a matter of course for us as company and team-building events.

Organization

Our school administration team keeps everything together. Our colleagues work closely with the various departments and receive support from our central department at our headquarters in Berlin. In the administration team, the school management, admissions coordinator, business managers, front office assistants, IT service staff, building technicians and kitchen staff work hand in hand to ensure the smooth running of the school and daycare center.
