We currently look after around 700 children aged 0-6 years in our five bilingual Schwarz Group daycare centers in Heilbronn, Erlenbach and Weinsberg. At the beginning of 2026, we will open another daycare center in Bad Friedrichshall, which will offer space for around 280 children.
The guiding principle in our daycare centers is participation. The children should have a say in everyday life and be given the opportunity to live out their curiosity and abilities; only when they discover their own effectiveness will they become independent, creative and empathetic adults. This is why we work with an open concept. There are no regular groups, but the children can pursue their interests freely in mixed age groups.
This means that you too can make the most of your individual strengths and focuses. Depending on the building, there are many well-equipped functional rooms such as the mud room, a movement room, an adventure room and much more for the children to discover during free play. Every day, the children can decide for themselves which of the activities we offer they would like to take part in.
Language plays a key role in our educational concept. As a bilingual German-English daycare center, we attach great importance to promoting both German and English equally. To ensure this, you will work together with native-speaking educators who only speak English with the children. You yourself will continue to speak only German with them so that they have a competent contact person for each language and can learn both languages naturally and integrated into everyday life (immersively).
Music has a special place in our facilities, as music appeals to almost all areas of children's development and therefore enables holistic support. Children memorize phrases and sentences more easily in connection with rhythms and melodies. They can express themselves not only verbally, but also through the creative use of their entire body, which also helps them to acquire good language skills through play. The joy of making music also boosts self-confidence. To ensure that the children can experience music on a regular basis, we have two music educators who alternate between the different houses and try out instruments, sing and dance with the children. Singing circles also take place on a daily basis, and each house is equipped with its own instruments and materials.
STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) is another of our main areas of focus, as we want to give children the opportunity to pursue their natural urge to explore and curiously discover the world. Children have a great interest in discovering, learning and researching and are naturally keen to experiment and inquisitive. We want to provide stimuli and support the children in their interests and real-life topics, enabling them to gain their first experiences in the STEM field while still at daycare.
Our buildings are equipped with all kinds of materials for discovery and experimentation and you can also get involved in this area, depending on your interests. Some of our children aged 3-6 regularly visit the Experimenta Science Center as part of a cooperation and take part in exciting laboratory courses. Special research boxes enable us to continue our research in the daycare center afterwards. In addition, a STEM week with a corresponding focus takes place regularly in all of our facilities.
Our daycare centres are open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., so we work in shifts. Even if you are looking for a part-time position, you've come to the right place. You will then take on a whole shift on your working days and have whole days off in return. When planning, we make sure that the shifts are fairly distributed across the entire team. We also take your personal working model into consideration at events.
With us, you also have one hour of preparation time per day. You can arrange this flexibly to suit you and work these hours while on the move. There is a task plan that specifies exactly which tasks are due in which shift. During onboarding, you will be accompanied by a mentor for the first three weeks, who will show you everything.
Your salary with us is significantly higher than the collective labour agreement, and you will receive a welcome bonus of €1,000 (gross) when you start. You will have free catering as part of the educational supervision of meals. We also support your company pension scheme with 20%. You can also choose between a job ticket and an Edenred City Card, which is topped up with €50 per month.
You have 33 vacation days per year at your disposal that you can plan these flexibly, as we have very few fixed closing times. Your employment contract is of course permanent.
Our teams consist of 20-35 employees - the staffing ratios in our facilities are very good. In addition, the teams are multi-professional, which means that anyone with qualifications from the extended specialist catalogue, such as speech therapists, paediatric nurses and remedial teachers, can also work with us.
This makes it possible for all employees to focus on their personal strengths and skills and use them in their work in the best possible way.
Our daycare centres are equipped with modern, high-quality functional rooms (e.g., mud room, construction room, movement room, adventure room, and much more). We place great importance on ergonomic furniture for our staff, and our in-house daycare app helps us organize daily life with the children.
Overall, we benefit from a generous budget due to our partnership with the Schwarz Group, which facilitates the purchase of special materials for new projects. In general, we are very well-equipped in terms of digital resources.
