Your Responsibilities

Management and organisation of early and afternoon care as well as the holiday programme
Planning and coordination of activities, development of new programmes, acquisition of cooperation partners
Coordination with primary school leadership, business manager and pedagogical team
Long-term staff planning and scheduling, ensuring high childcare standards
Compliance with legal requirements and implementation of the afternoon care concept
Management of equipment and resources in the afternoon care
Promoting the afternoon care through projects and measures in the school community
Ensuring effective communication within the team and promoting further training
Responsibility for bookings, records and compliance with guidelines
Enthusiasm for our Phorms concept and continuously developing it with creativity and empathy
Working in partnership with our parental community

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a similar qualification in Education or Childcare as well as very good professional knowledge
Practical experience in the day care of children and organisation of holiday programmes
Sound knowledge of legal requirements and the licensing process for childcare centres
Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures in accordance with legal and local requirements
Strong critical thinking and self-reflection skills
Experience in staff management, including recruitment, leadership and appraisal
Excellent organisational skills and team-orientated approach to work
Strong communication skills at all hierarchical levels - in both German and English
Special interest in bilingual education and a high level of intercultural competence
Ideally already experience working in an international environment

About Us

There are currently around 620 children and young people learning and playing at our modern Phorms Campus Hamburg with Nursery, Primary and Secondary including Upper Secondary School with Abitur. Our concept is based on bilingual education using the immersion method, multilingualism through language-sensitive teaching, as well as personalised learning. Our competent and engaged pedagogical team appreciates the school’s family-like atmosphere as well as the very central and convenient location and the innovative equipment.
